Homework Policy
There will be a homework assignment roughly each week. Homework will be submitted through Gradescope. The lowest homework grade will be dropped. No late submissions will be accepted. I also encourage you to type up homework assignments in LaTeX. The easiest way to get started is by creating an Overleaf account here.
Exams
There are two midterms in the course. The first one will be on October 27th and the second one will be on November 20th during the usual lecture time. The final exam will be on December 13th, 8-11am.
Grading Policy
The grade is assigned based on the maximum of the following two schemes:

| Homework: 15% | Homework: 15% |
| Midterms 1 and 2: 25% each | Maximum of Midterm 1 or Midterm 2: 35% |
| Final Exam: 35% | Final Exam: 50% |
