Tutoring

I have been a dedicated math tutor since 2016 and have a rich background in working with students at a variety of math levels, from preparing students for SAT math and AP Calculus to teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses. At UCLA, I have taught MATH 31B, 33AB, 131AB, 134, 164, and 170S.

I specialize in high school math, SAT prep, AMC/AIME competitions, any lower-division UCLA math class (31/32/33 series), and most upper-division math courses (especially MATH 115, 131, 132, 170).

In working with students, I foremost focus on adapting to their learning style, as well as helping students refine and optimize their note-taking and exam-taking strategies. I have found this two-fold approach to be very successful.

Sessions can be scheduled in-person on campus or by Zoom. Feel free to reach out by email at malkov[at]g.ucla.edu for more info!
